KATA PENGANTAR

Kami panjatkan puji syukur atas kehadirat Allah Yang Maha Esa, yang telah memberikan rahmat dan hidayah-Nya, sehingga kami dapat menyelesaikan konsep dan tugas KIMIA.

Konsep dan tugas ini disusun berdasarkan kurikulum KTSP, penyusunan  laporan ini didasari dari kegiatan selama kita belajar dan praktek di SMA, banyak siswa yang kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dalam penyelesaian masalah, yang pada hasilnya dengan hasil yang kurang memuaskan. Sehingga siswa kurang senang dan enggan  belajar Kimia, atas permasalahan tersebut mendorong kami untuk menyusun konsep dan membuat laporan ini dengan tujuan agar siswa termotivasi dan menyukai pelajaran Kimia. Besar harapan kami agar konsep dalam laporan ini mempermudah siswa dalam mempelajari Kimia.

Matahari adalah sebuah bintang yang tidak berbeda dengan bintang lain yang berkilauan di malam hari. yang memancarkan sendiri sumber energinya ke segala penjuru. Matahari bukan bintang yang memiliki ukuran istimewa. Hanya saja, karena jaraknya yang dekat dengan bumi yaitu sekitar 149.500.000 km,
matahari terlihat jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan bintang lainnya.
Dalam kiasifikasi bintang, matahari termasuk bintang normal. Namun,
jika matahari dianggap sebagai wadah, matahari dapat menampung lebih dari sejuta bumi.

Statistik Fisik Matahari
1. Massa matahari adalah 1,99 x io° kg, lebih dan 99% massa total Tata Surya 
dan kira-kira 330.000 kali massa Bumi.

2. Jari-jari matahari di ekuator sepanjang 695.000 km atau
108,97 jan-jan bumi.

3. Temperatur di permukaan matahari = 6ooo°C.

4. Magnitudo (Tingkat Kecemerlangan) = —26,8.

5. Matahari berotasi dengan kecepatan yang tidak sama antara bagian kutub 
dengan bagian ekuator. Di bagian ekuator periode rotasi matahari adalah 27 hari. Sementara di bagian kutub periode rotasi matahari adalah 30 hari.

Bagian – Bagian Matahari

a. Teras Matahari

Teras ialah zon radiatif yang mengeluarkan 55% daripada jumlah tenaga  sinaran Matahari. Dalam kawasan ini, tenaga yang dihasilkan di dalam teras dibawa keluar oleh foton-foton. Cara pergerakan di sini amat lambat sebab foton diserap dan dibebaskan oleh partikel-partikel sekeliling. Dipercayaibahwa foton mengambil masa beberapa ratus ribu tahun untuk meninggalkan Matahari. Tanpa halangan, foton sepatutnya boleh bergerak dalam tempo beberapa saat saja. Akhirnya, kita sampai ke lapisan luar, yaitu zon konvektif, yang merupakan 30% daripada garis-pusat Matahari. Di sini suhu menurun sehingga ke satu juta Kelvin. Di dalam lapisan ini, tenaga bergerak melalui proses konveksi, yaitu pergerakan melibatkan semua partikel- partikel sekeliling. Gas yang panas dari bagian dalam bergerak ke  permukaan dan membebaskan tenaga menjadi sejuk dan turun semula kebagian dalam dan seterusnya.

b. Pabrik tenaga matahari

Berupa kawasan yang luas. Atom hidrogenya mengalami pemboman Sinar Gamma dari teras. Tabrakan dasyat ini mengubah Sinar Gamma menjadi  sinar yang tenaga lebih lemah. Misalnya Gelombang Ultra Violet.

c. Fotosfer

Fotosfer adalah lapisan matahariyang kita liat sehari-hari.Berupa lapisan bergolak setebal 300 km. pada lapisan ini terdapat Noda Matahari / Noda Surya atau Noktah. Permukaan fotosfer tidak merupakan bidang yang rata, tetapi berbutir besar-kecil, disebut granulasi fotosfer. pada lapisan ini jasa terdapat semburan-semburan api (faculae) yang berasal dari  suatu ledakan. Semburanya dapat mencapai ketinggian 140.000 mil.Cahayanya yang sangat terang mengalahkan lapisan paling luar matahari yaitu korona, sehingga sinar dari korona tidak terlihat oleh mata kita.Disekeliling fotosfer adalah lapisan gas merah cemerlang yang disebut kromosfer.Fotosfer memiliki kedalaman sekitar 500 km. Cahaya fotosfer dapat terlihat dan berwarna kuning dari bumi karena gas-gas panas pada fotosfer memancarkan cahaya dengan intensitas sangat kuat. Fotosfer kira-kira disusun oleh 94% hidrogen, 5,9% helium, dan 0,1% elemen-elemen lebih berat.

d. Kromosfer

Kromosfer ialah lapisan gas merah kira-kira setebal 10000 km, bagaikan  atmosfer Bumi. Prominensa terdiri dari awan hidrogen berwarna kemerahan yang terlempar melampaui kromosfer ke korona

e. Korona

merupakan lapisan terluar dari kromosfer ,berupa sinar kemilau yg tebalnya kadang-kadang melebihi garis tengah matahari korona akan tampak jelas waktu gerhana total.
